Join us for a dynamic two-day Wilderness First Aid + CPR course designed to equip you with the skills and confidence to handle medical emergencies in the great outdoors. Dates: September 27-28 Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Location: Gray, Maine Max Group Size: 12 participants This course goes beyond standard first aid training, offering hands-on, scenario-based learning in real-world environments. Whether you're hiking, skiing, or adventuring in remote locations, this comprehensive 16-hour training will teach you how to assess, stabilize, and manage injuries and illnesses, from minor sprains to severe allergic reactions. Learn how to navigate life-threatening emergencies and everyday accidents with limited resources and make critical decisions when advanced medical care is out of reach. Led by Courtney Cronin of Wild Maine Med, a Wilderness EMT and SOLO Wilderness Medicine Instructor with over 20 years of experience. This immersive course focuses on developing practical skills, fostering problem-solving abilities under pressure, and adapting to challenging situations. You’ll gain the confidence to act quickly and effectively, knowing when and how to seek advanced medical help. A 2-year CPR certification is included as part of this course. Instructor: Courtney Cronin is a Wilderness EMT, SOLO Wilderness Medicine Instructor, and experiential educator. With over 20 years of experience leading outdoor programs, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for empowering others to confidently navigate wilderness emergencies. Cancellation Policy
1. Payment at Registration Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure your spot in the program. 2. Cancellations and Refunds If you need to cancel your registration, we ask for at least 14 days’ notice prior to the program start date to receive a refund. A 3% processing fee will be deducted from refunds issued via credit card. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations made within 14 days of the program start date. 3. Weather-Related Changes In the event of inclement weather, we will make every effort to reschedule the session. If rescheduling is not possible, you will receive a full refund for the cancelled day(s).
