Banned Book Club
Read Boldly. Act Bravely.
Details
Join us for a bold, free book club centering banned books that challenge, inspire, and empower. We’ll explore titles rooted in feminism & gender, women in sports & adventure, race, environmental justice, and activism—books that spark thought and action, especially those others have tried to silence. This is a smaller, intentional group, designed to feel welcoming—not overwhelming. Whether you're a seasoned activist or just curious, you’ll find space here to share, reflect, and connect in a supportive circle of non-binary and women-identifying readers. 📚 Free to attend — but please register to be added to the mailing list! 📩 All details are emailed out the month prior meeting Date: First Monday of the month, starts Jan 5 Where: Our creative space in Gray, ME Time: 6:00–8:00 PM Best For: Anyone who identifies as a woman or non-binary
