Women’s Mountain Bike Fundamentals Series Build a strong foundation, grow your confidence, and feel more at home on singletrack — all in a supportive, non-competitive space alongside other women and non-binary riders. Dates: Thursday Nights Time: 5:30–7:00 PM Session: May 7 – June 11 (6 weeks) Location: Rotating trails throughout Greater Portland Level: Novice (some singletrack experience, riding <2 years or returning) Max Group Size: 12 riders “I look forward to my local mountain biking rides with Effie and crew all week. Not only did I fall in love with the sport and our local trail systems, I found an empowering and FUN group of women to share the experience with.” - Maggie WHAT THIS SERIES INCLUDES: - 6 weeks of guided, skills-focused group rides - 9 total hours of ride time with a PMBIA Certified MTB Coach - Riding and exploring multiple trail systems in the Greater Portland area - Intentional skill-building layered into real trail experiences - Breaking down techniques into manageable steps - Sessioning features and lines when appropriate - Improving bike handling, awareness, and trail safety - Learning and practicing trail etiquette - Building endurance in a way that feels approachable THIS SERIES IS FOR YOU IF: -You identify as a woman or non-binary rider - You’ve ridden singletrack before but are still newer to the sport (riding less than 2 years, or are returning to riding after injury, pregnancy, etc) - You want to feel more confident on green trails - You’re looking to build foundational skills - You may not ride regularly and want accountability to do so - You’d like to explore different trail systems - You value connection and community - You want to be supported and encouraged while you learn We strongly recommend taking a Fundamental Skills Clinic (with Effie or another qualified instructor) before joining this series. To ensure meaningful instruction and a comfortable group dynamic, participation is capped at 12 riders. While we understand occasional conflicts arise, registration is for the full 6-week session. Cancellation Policy
1. Payment at Registration Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure your spot in the program. 2. Cancellations and Refunds If you need to cancel your registration, we ask for at least 14 days’ notice prior to the program start date to receive a refund. A 3% processing fee will be deducted from refunds issued via credit card. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations made within 14 days of the program start date. 3. Weather-Related Changes In the event of inclement weather, we will make every effort to reschedule the session. If rescheduling is not possible, you will receive a full refund for the cancelled day(s).
